• Setting is Jelena's grandma's flat :) Great place where I shot at least 3-4 people so far. It's small but cool :)
  Politika Newspaper is there to tell the story about nowadays issues that surround us. Helmut's book would kill the idea in that sense. Cigarettes, coffee, alcohol, drugs, politics and other things are what kill us and our spirit, our own "I" and we tend to run from one to other searching help in them...
  As for Helmut style photos goes - be patient - something is comming that is similar but with 100 times better lighting than he used to use for his shots (which is something I really dislike on his photos).

  Hana, I am glad you like it! I took few photos of Nensi for the same project, so you will see some more some time soon.

  Just noticed - skin on her torso doesn't seem to have any texture!
  I always felt that a (Helmut) girl, obsessed with her looks, would never have time or desire to read a paper like Politika. No way. Just my opinion.
  I see what you were referring to there. But, being a girl (wink), that's my perspective: one message (obsessing with looks and despairing about it) is so much stronger for me.
  I think I know what you dislike about Newton's lighting. It's so "old" looking. But the ideas are so strong. And images, so powerful.
  
  But you're getting really good too, damn!

  There is tons of structure on her torso. Remind me around 19h to send you a close up of the skin. OK? She just have nice skin.
  
  I understand that some girls would prefer to read H/N book over Politika :) that's for sure, and some could even loose the face over it / or related subjects. That's also sure. But here I am not talking about that, though we could do a small series about those superficial things (look obsession) in life for "Faceless" if you would like to pose for me for this project?!
  
  Thing about Newton's lighting is that in most cases was way too basic! Ideas were usually great though and in front of it's time.
  
  And maybe Helmut's girl would never read Politika :) but this is Misko's girl :)
  
  And finally let me correct you, I am not getting good - I am/was for almost 20 years it's just the fact that for last 10+ years I didn't show it to people too much. Now I do. :)

• Dorisa, That little painting was painted by grannie's old boyfriend. We have a whole series of those nice paintings he did. This one is the smallest in series. I am glad you like the photo too :)
